Antisemitism in schools: DfE accepts all 27 Bell review recommendations

What happened. On 21 October 2026 the DfE published Sir David Bell's review of antisemitism in schools and accepted all 27 of its recommendations. These include stronger guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), stronger guidance on political impartiality, and training for leaders. (DfE announcement)

What it means for you now. The recommendations are accepted, but the new guidance hasn't been published yet. Nothing changes in your policies today. KCSIE 2026 has applied since 1 September (KCSIE 2026), so expect any further changes to arrive as a revision to it.

What to watch. Watch for the revised KCSIE text, the updated political impartiality guidance and the dates the leader training starts. We'll add them to the roundup when the DfE publishes them.
